HOW TO PACK
How to pack a large or any other mirror for moving
Transporting a mirror when relocating can be safe if you pack and secure the mirror properly before moving. It is essential to protect the items as much as possible when shipping mirrors to avoid any possible damage. Follow our tips on how to transport and pack large or free-standing mirrors for moving:
- Secure the shipping box. If possible, use special mirror packing boxes when shipping mirrors. Otherwise, take a rigid cardboard box of the corresponding size. Cover the interior sides of the box with styrofoam sheets.
- Protect the mirror. Apply masking tape to make a large “X” from corner to corner on the mirror’s face. If applicable, use corner or edge protectors to protect the sharp parts of your mirror. Wrap the mirror in multiple layers of bubble wrap or thick foam paper.
- Place the mirror in the cardboard box. Cover the mirror with an additional styrofoam sheet and fill all empty spaces in the box with cushioning material (packing peanuts, lots of crumpled paper, etc.).
- We recommend that you pack only one mirror per box.
- Seal the box with adhesive tape. We recommend you also to stick a warning label on your package saying “Glass. Handle with care”.

Relocation services with Eurosender: transport mirrors and all your belongings
When shipping a large mirror, whether for an international relocation or for a customer, the safest option is to book a Van Delivery Service. With this service, you will have an entire vehicle reserved solely for you that will go directly from the collection to delivery locations.
Important: When booking a Van Delivery, you do not have to comply with any packaging requirements. However, we strongly recommend wrapping the mirror you are moving in bubble wrap and packing it in a cardboard box for maximum protection.
