Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
The sender’s responsibility is to cover the charges for duties, import clearance, or any other taxes, unlike the case with Delivered Duty Unpaid, where the receiver covers the above mentioned.
What is the meaning of Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)?
The delivered duty paid indicates that the seller covers all the costs associated with the delivery, including the customs clearance fees, import duties and VAT. With this, the seller takes responsibility until the goods are unloaded at the buyer’s destination.
