Bear in mind that on Christmas Eve, Hermes working hours are usually reduced so that their staff can also spend time with their families.

Are Hermes (Evri) delivering on Christmas Eve 2024?
Many people wonder if Evri delivers on Christmas Eve, and the answer is yes! 24 December is not considered a public holiday in the UK. For this reason, even though it falls on a Sunday in 2024, Evri will schedule deliveries for Christmas Eve for locations and services where Sunday delivery is possible.
If Evri is not able to deliver your parcel on Christmas Eve because no one was home, you will have to wait until after the holidays. So, if you are expecting a delivery, make sure someone is present at the address to receive the parcel.

Are Hermes delivering over New Year 2024/2025?
In general, 31 December is a working day in most countries, and couriers such as Hermes work reduced hours on New Year’s Eve, like on Christmas Eve. New Year’s Eve will fall on a Wednesday in 2024, so deliveries on this day will depend on availability at your destination.
Hermes (Evri) does not deliver on New Year’s Day as it is a public holiday in the majority of locations around the world. Evri will resume normal services on 2 January 2024 in the UK, except for Scotland, where services will resume on 3 January.
