Copenhagen is a wonderful danish city surrounded by the North Sea and crossed by Kobenhavns Havn. You can easily walk around the city. Exploring the city on foot is one of the best things you can do since you can explore city landmarks easily while contemplating its amazing architecture and bridges. As a bike-friendly and design-friendly city, you could explore the city calmly either on foot or on a bike.

Copenhagen on a Budget

One thing that everyone has in their minds while visiting Copenhagen is that it is a really expensive city, especially if you do not know where to go. Keep in mind to avoid restaurants situated in touristic areas, unless it is one that you have always wanted to visit.

What to do in Copenhagen?

One of the best things to do in Copenhagen would be to take a boat ride for a great tour on the river. Restaurants close to the river are very nice and there are so many cuisines to choose from. You can find tasty burgers, seafood and what not. If you want to have a different but amazing experience with International food, do not forget to try

If you want to have a different but amazing experience with International food, do not forget to try Papiroen. Situated in an ex-hangar of boats, it is now a huge food court where you can find food from all over the world. At one single place, you can get fragrances of Brazil, tastes of Italy, and colours of Asia. You can eat while sitting in deckchairs and look at the wonderful views of Copenhagen. We highly recommend going there in the afternoon, and experience an amazing sunset while experiencing amazing food: That is what dreams are made of.

Copenhagen has as much to do as to eat. You can go to Park Tivoli. The beautiful architecture will definitely amaze you. We can assure that you will fall in love with it. The great carousel of Copenhagen is also an experience that should be on your to-do list.

Between Kongens Nytorv and the city centre, there are lots of pubs and clubs full of students. These places offer relatively good prices, so you could go there for a lovely time in the evenings.

One of the most interesting things to do in Copenhagen is to visit Christiania. This district was occupied by hippies in the ’70s and later asked for the independence of this little town. One cannot take pictures once they are in Christiania. However, this adds a surprise factor to this beautiful town. Murals, colours, pubs and fast food restaurants create a really hippie and original vibe. To chill here, you can sit across the little lake in Christiania.
