How much does it cost to insure a package?
The shipping insurance does not have a fixed set price. The price of your shipping insurance will depend on your shipment’s value, the package’s size and weight, the distance it needs to travel and the shipping service used. Generally, insured parcel shipping can range from 10 euros to 60 euros or more, depending on the above factors. Keep in mind that different rules apply for different couriers, so you should check your options with the chosen courier.
You can also purchase additional coverage for your items to ensure extra piece of mind for more valuable items.

Do I get money back on the shipping insurance?
The short answer is yes, you may be able to recover some or all of the cost, but it depends on the situation and the type of insurance you purchase. If your package gets damaged or lost in transit, you will be reimbursed for the value of your shipment. However, if something happens to it after it arrives at its destination, then you won’t get any money back at all. For example, if someone steals items out of an unsecured box or breaks into a locked crate and steals something inside, then there’s nothing anyone can do about that.
If you receive your shipment intact and safely at the destination but paid for insurance, you will not receive that money back as it guaranteed your shipment would arrive safely at its destination.
